In June 2025, U.S. dental professionals will travel to Egypt to provide free dental care to refugees and underserved communities. Inspired by the legacy of Our Three Winners, this mission brings healing, dignity, and hope — one smile at a time.

About Refugee Smiles
Project Refugee Smiles was founded in honor of Deah Shaddy Barakat, Yusor Mohammad Abu-Salha, and Razan Mohammad Abu-Salha — three incredible souls whose lives were rooted in compassion and humanitarian outreach. In 2015, their legacy inspired a life-changing mission to Turkey to provide dental care to Syrian refugees. Today, we carry that vision forward.
This June, we return to Egypt to offer critical dental services to those who need it most. Led by Dr. Hesham Abdelbaky — a nationally recognized dentist and community leader — our team of 5–7 dentists, supported by assistants and technicians, will treat over 300 patients across five days in Cairo.
The team will bring all dental equipment, cover all expenses, and donate remaining supplies to local clinics to ensure lasting impact.
